Origin : Robusta 5 x Ottawa 3 - Cornell University, USA
Description : Rootstock with a vigor similar to M106 and high productivity, tolerant to replanting, tolerant to phytophthora, very resistant to fire blight, and resistant to woolly apple aphids. Susceptible to viruses and not very susceptible to suckers and burr knots. Information from the EFTR website
Characteristics : rootstock very susceptible to soil conditions, which greatly influences vigor: in some orchards, it will have M9 vigor, and in others, it will have G935 vigor. In Europe, very little experience to date (2025). Very good rootstock for varieties susceptible to bitter pit. Very high-performing rootstock in nurseries. Information provided based on knowledge acquired in 2025
Uses : still little experience with this rootstock in Europe. Suitable for weak varieties or multi-axis trees.
